The SILO mini load storage solution stores maintenance parts (nuclear plants, production sites) / spare parts weighing over 300 kg inside a mechanically-welded structure providing capacity up to 1,000 m² / 800 m³. The two front-located viewing/work stations provide simultaneous access to several references enabling you to optimize replenishment/removal cycle time.
The SILO ASRS can be accessed by badging or by password via the G-DOC document software which ensures archive integrity and tracks movements requested during viewing.

The use of divisible plastic containers should be favoured for sensitive references which cannot come into iron-to-iron contact.

In our case, the reference is directly accessible from above, thus making handling easier and saving time when choosing items. User security is also taken into account. As users do not need to handle containers which can weigh up to 5 kg, there is no risk of accident related to containers or to references which could fall on users' feet.

Multidirectional Platform
The robot's manual controls, located on the door of the on-board electrical cabinet, make it possible to check the presence of the supply voltages (24 V of control) and the presence or absence of an onboard fault.
In addition, each movement can be controlled individually in low speed (10% of maximum speed) or in high speed (50% of maximum speed).
Absolute Encoder Robot
Motion management by an absolute encoder on the motor ensures full control of the position.
Thanks to the absolute encoder, the controller and the drive always know the position of the extraction chain. (Even when moving off).
Laser measurements
Managing movements using laser measurements ensures total control of the robot's position (1/10th mm). Thanks to laser measurements, the automated trolley and the drives are permanently aware of the robot's position. (Even when moving in power-off mode). This information is used for moving the robot and for identifying cellular trays. These measuring systems have the advantage over encoders as they do not use mechanical pieces (floor straps, idlers, pulleys, etc.) and, as such, simplify servicing.

The silo is available in 150 kg and 315 kg versions which can handle high-density items like books and large-volume size items like cardboard boxes.

The power and the PLC network are transmitted to the robot via current consumers.
These slide in copper conductor rails fixed to the upper rails of the installation.

There are six power outlets, including one for the land. This device is doubled to obtain excellent resistance to micro-cuts.
It is also a safety for the people involved in the machine.

The Stacker crane mechanically-welded structure as well as its steel cladding panels undergo full surface treatment followed by the application of epoxy power coating. This treatment offers the SILO a high-quality finish and ensures it is built to last.

HDPE drawer guides (High-density polyethylene)
The guides installed under the drawers also facilitate removal and eliminate risk of ferrous residue in the tower.

This control panel offers outstanding display viewability and is used to call the drawers, for modifying settings, for managing the indicators and all machine configuration. You can lock the control panel with an access code which will secure access to the tower and/or to specific drawers.

Like all ELECTROCLASS storage solutions, By incorporating safety light curtains which meet the 15095 + A1 standard, the SILO Miniload complies with all the provisions of the Directive 2006/42/CE on machinery

The Area indicator option offers a set of configurable diodes. These are positioned in the lookup table and, via a computer, allow you to identify the exact location of the reference to be taken out. Diode spacing is 20 mm.
The SILO ASRS can be equipped with an electric curtain that fully closes the access bay. This option is necessary when a controlled environment (temperature or constant atmosphere) is required.
We offer secure access to the stacker crane via a reader configured according to your badge technology: you reuse your current badge to access your stock safely
The SILO ASRS can be equipped with ventilation systems (CMV), with systems for ensuring temperature and humidity remain constant as well as a cooling unit, etc. They can also be equipped with fire detection and gas injection systems.
