The SILO stacker crane consists of two high-rise motorized racks and a central handling robot. This automatic system allows for rapid movement in the central aisle and direct access to stored items. Each product can be brought to the preparation station or to a conveyor, depending on the configuration. With its multi-station capacity, adaptability to small or large parts, and compatibility with peripheral equipment (automatic drawer dispensers, accumulators, conveyors, etc.), the SILO fits perfectly into a modern industrial logistics chain.

The SILO mini-load storage solution enables the storage of maintenance parts (nuclear power plants, production sites) / spare parts weighing over 300 kg within a mechanically welded structure with a capacity of up to 1,000 m² / 800 m³. The two front stations allow simultaneous access to several items in order to optimize the supply/picking cycle time.
Coupled with the G-STOCK WMS and interfaced with your ERP, the SILO automated warehouse allows you to prepare orders for your large-volume items (DIY items, boxes, etc.). SILO replenishment and picking are carried out using a pick-to-light system integrated into the warehouse to facilitate the work of operators: users thus increase their productivity while avoiding MSDs (musculoskeletal disorders).
The SILO dynamic storage system and its control systems enable you to significantly reduce supply/picking errors: no more stock discrepancies or preparation errors. These benefits bring your organization greater productivity while reducing operating losses.

Multidirectional platformThe robot's manual controls, located on the door of the on-board electrical cabinet, allow you to check the presence of supply voltages (24 V control) and whether or not there is an on-board fault.
Laser guidance for maximum precisionLaser measurement-based motion control ensures complete control over the robot's position (to within 1/10th of a millimeter).
Power and the control network are transmitted to the robot via power collectors. These slide along copper conductor rails fixed to the upper crossbars of the installation. This system avoids the need for a power cable at the rear of the robot, thereby increasing its speed and acceleration. There are six power connectors, including one for grounding. This device is duplicated to provide excellent resistance to micro-cuts.
The welded structure of the stacker crane, as well as its steel cladding panels and drawers, undergo a complete surface treatment, finished with the application of an epoxy powder coating. This treatment gives the SILO a high-quality finish and makes it extremely durable.
Commercial electronicsAll electronic components are standard commercial off-the-shelf items. This feature makes the SILO stacker crane very easy to maintain over time.
HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) slidesLocated under the drawers, they facilitate removal and eliminate any risk of ferrous residues inside the tower.

The oak table offers a high quality finish to the viewing bay.
The weighing scale option should be integrated whenever the load borne by the Silo drawers needs to be monitored. The weight is displayed on the touch screen.
